It’s called promotion and the song is put up to allow you to sample it before you go and buy the album on iTunes. Music distribution paradigm is changing and the best way to sell your music is by getting your stuff well known. If people like it enough, they will buy it. How do you think he built up his fanbase? By distributing his music online via blogs like us for free.
It’s not like we are giving away the whole album. We’ve been supporting Wiz since the beginning and wish him the best. If he’s got a problem with it, he knows how to get at us and of course we will honor his request. Until then, I’ll repeat: GO BUY THE ALBUM.
