This new new from Cudder is sounding prettty good. Not really feeling the bridge and it could have cut out earlier at the end, but other than that I’m real into it. Cudi and Dot Da Genius cooked this up back in ’08 and are giving it out to hype up WZRD, dropping Feb 28th. Not getting my hopes up for WZRD unfortunately, think he needs to stick to rapping. We’ll see how it turns out soon enough.

M83′s “Midnight City” was by far one of the top songs of 2011 and to think that a cover of the song could possibly be anywhere close to as good as the original would be a bold statement. Not to my surprise, with the help of newcomer Mandy Lee and her unique vocals, The Knocks were the ones to get the job done. They use their own upbeat style while preserving some of the key qualities of the original to come out with an awesome track. Mandy Lee also kills it with her vocals and singing the iconic high synths part from the original. Check out BGB’s archives on The Knocks here for some more of their tracks.

21-year old Tyga, the man behind Rack City, get’s a little more real on this one with a jazzy beat and some massive collaborations. One of the better hip-hop tracks I’ve heard in a while.

This is supposedly a leak off Tyga’s upcoming project Careless World. Looks like the kid is headed for big things.

Think a bunch of you should be pretty into this house song, feel like I haven’t been hearing too too many great songs lately so this is a welcome surprise. Not much info on Sato Goldschlag, all I got is that they’re a production duo out of New York and Atlanta and brand new to the EDM scene. By the looks of their soundcloud (“Who is Sato Goldschlag?, Worldwide, United States”), the mystery is intentional. Anyways, giving this one away for free is a huge bonus, as was getting Wynter Gordon for the accapella. According to their twitter they’re dropping a song with Dada Life soon, curious to see how that turns out/find out more about these guys.

The original mix is great (I think better) as long as you can handle slow but really well done build ups.

This single came out in late 2011 and has been featured in several TV shows and commercials but somehow I just heard it for the first time on the radio today. Fun. is an indie-pop band based out of New York and really killed it with this one. This is the kind of extremely catchy song that just makes you feel good and want to be happy. Give it a try.
