Alabama Shakes - “Hold On”

DOWNLOAD + MUSIC VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP | It's pretty clear that the band Alabama Shakes is blowing up. Recently appearing on Conan and The Late Show with David Letterman, this alternative/roots rock band released their first album, "Boys & Girls," in April and hasn't looked back. Since forming in Athens, Alabama, lead singer Brittany Howard has used her soulful vocals, which some compare to Janis Joplin, to bring this band to new heights. Their first single off of the album, called "Hold On," has been the band's most popular song and defintely gets the crowd going. Another track off of the album, "You Ain't Alone," is a slower jam where you get a feel for the band's real soulful side and has already been used in a commercial (track download below).
