Kids These Days - Darling
Was cruising The Hype Machine yesterday and on a whim decided to see what I could find on the "funk" channel. Glad I did, because I came up with some legit music. I love my sweeps and bleeps as much as the next guy but sometimes its nice to hear a band playing some instruments.
Kids These Days are a 7-piece band out of Chicago and their style manages to fuse funk, jazz, hip-hop and just straight pop into one feel good sound. If you're feeling it buy the track on iTunes and check out the rest of their LP.
